9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance

2011 marked the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. In honor of this historic milestone, HandsOn Greater Richmond partnered with HandsOn Network and My Good Deed for the federally recognized September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance. HandsOn, the City of Richmond, and other community organizations joined forces to create tribute projects throughout the area, providing opportunities for hundreds of Richmond citizens to honor and remember 9/11 and prepare for emergencies. Projects took place the weekend of September 11 and throughout the week following.
