History Helpers for Emancipation Day
The mission of the Valentine Richmond History Center is to engage, educate, and challenge a diverse audience by collecting, preserving, and interpreting Richmond’s history. Volunteers will assist with family and student activities related to Emancipation Day. Duties include assisting with craft projects, helping visitors handle artifacts, and supervising historical games and activities. Volunteers should be interested in history and eager to engage with families in order to support the mission of the Valentine Richmond History Center. Volunteers will receive a parking voucher, to be arranged when volunteer assignment is confirmed.
This opportunity is a referral and is managed by VRHC directly. Please express interest below to indicate to the agency your interest in participating.
All volunteers who plan to attend must express interest. This includes youth. If the post indicates adults must be present, youth and adults must register using the team functionality.
