DIY Household Item Drive
Issue: Hunger and Homelessness
Beneficiary: CARITAS
Purpose: Help ensure clients have everything they need to transition into stability by hosting a drive to collect the items listed below. This is a perfect opportunity for congregations, civic associations, and youth groups.
Directions: This is a drive for just these items: regular-sized bed pillows and dinner plates. Volunteers should collect a minimum of 10 of each item.
Deadline and Contact:1) Registration will close by Monday morning, Oct 12.
2) Sign up yourself or your team below.
3) You will receive the address once you register. Deliver items to CARITAS on Friday, October 16, between 9am and 3pm.
4) Indicate HandsOn Day at drop off, sign your name, and
receive a voucher for goodies at the post-HandsOn Day Celebration.
Every person who plans to volunteer (including youth) must sign up. You can create a volunteer team to sign up your group or family members. Read about how to create and manage teams.
Registered participants will receive 4 hours for submitting materials as noted above.
