RVA Community Improvement Blitz (Church Hill)
We are inviting individuals, organizations and companies to participate in the RVA Community Improvement Blitz Cleanups on September 11th and September 12th, as an effort to ensure a clean and presentable city for our residents and visitors of the UCI 2015 Bike Championships. This event includes community cleanups across the city and we are also encouraging participants to give 60 minutes of their time to clean up in their own neighborhoods. The Keep Virginia Beautiful and MPACT cleanups will also include beautification efforts which include: painting, planting and mulching. Our cleanup efforts will include: debris and litter pick up. Please bring a water bottle, wear closed toes shoes, gloves, and dress accordingly. Volunteers will park and meet at 25th Street and Fairmount Ave. Volunteers will collect litter along the 25th Street corridor and surrounding blocks. This opportunity is a referral and is managed by MPACT directly. Please express interest below to indicate to the agency your interest in participating. All volunteers who plan to attend must express interest. This includes youth. If the post indicates adults must be present, youth and adults must register using the team functionality.
