DIY Dental Drive 15
DIY Volunteering allows families and groups of all ages and sizes to participate in community service from the comfort of their own homes. Read more about our DIY initiative.Deadline and Contact:Issue: Health and Wellness Beneficiary: Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services Purpose: The clinic provides access to health care and basic human services to Goochland community residents who are in need of assistance. When patients come for a dental hygiene visit, they like to provide them with a take-home dental kit. Directions: Volunteers will assemble resealable plastic bags with 1 of each item: toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss. Volunteers should make a minimum of 10 bags.
1) Registration will close by Monday morning, Oct 12.
2) Sign up yourself or your team below
3) You will receive the address once you register. Deliver items to the clinic:
10/12 - 10/17. M-Th 9am-4pm. F 9am-3pm. Sat 9-1pm.
4) Ask for Diane or Jodi, indicate HandsOn Day at drop off, sign your name, and
receive a voucher for goodies at the post-HandsOn Day Celebration.
Every person who plans to volunteer (including youth) must sign up. You can create a volunteer team to sign up your group or family members. Read about how to create and manage teams.
Registered participants will receive 4 hours for submitting materials as noted above.
