RVA East End Festival: Kids Zone
The Richmond Symphony has been collaborating with government and civic organizations to plan festivals that will make a significant and positive impact on the broader community. This aligns to their Community Philosophy to combine the power of music with community investment.
The RVA East End Festival 2016 will be an inclusive community celebration highlighting the diverse neighborhoods and unique quality of Richmond’s East End. Proceeds from the festival will be used to support and enhance music education in Richmond Public Schools of the East End. A free outdoor concert by the Richmond Symphony, No BS! Brass Band, and vocalist Desiree Roots will kick off the three-day neighborhood festival devoted to the arts.
The Kids Zone volunteer assists with various activities to engage children and youth. All volunteers will meet at the Volunteer Check In Tent. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and a festival T-shirt will be provided to you. Parking information will be in the Special Directions on the location in your My Account after sign up. Registration will close midday Thursday, May 5, 2016.
