Senior Celebration
Westminster Canterbury Richmond is a continuing care retirement community providing comprehensive care and services to those living in their independent, assisted, nursing, and memory care programs. Enriching the lives of the residents they serve is of utmost importance. Volunteers will engage with residents in the memory care area with activities like games, bingo, cards, and more. Bring your own cards or games! There are also opportunities to spend one-on-one time with residents, read to residents or spend time outside when the weather permits.
Dress code: Please no short shorts, jeans with holes or tears in them, flip flops, or shoes/sandals without a back strap across the ankle. No cell phones in sight; cell phone use should be in a separate area away from residents and not in buildings. Because the facility is gated, everyone who plans to attend must be registered (this includes youth) so that the Gatehouse has your name.
Please check your confirmation email or your "My Account" after registration for special parking directions. Entrances are locked throughout the building and it can be challenging for the leader to find and move everyone through if they come very early or very late. For this reason, it is important you arrive on time.
