Opportunity Details
School Supply Drive
In summer 2015, HandsOn worked with volunteers and Richmond Public Schools to paint, clean, and prep a long-neglected space to open a Teacher Store, a place where teachers of RPS can “shop” for free supplies throughout the year. An entirely volunteer-run enterprise through our partnership with RPS, this is made possible by volunteers like you! Rather than spending their own money to supplement classroom needs or having the students go without, teachers can get supplies from the Store to support their classrooms. Community members are invited to donate any combination of the needed items below. The BOLD items are currently the greatest need:
- Pack of pencils (at least 12 pack)
- Pack of erasers
- Box of Crayons
- Box of Markers
- Blue Pens
