Opportunity Details
College and Career Fair
This event will promote middle school students’ awareness of college and career options. Inspire the youth of our community by sharing about your college, your career journey, a typical workday, education requirements and more. This is an opportunity for students to speak with someone whose college and career choice interests them and to explore areas they may not have considered before. The fair will last for two hours, with students in grades 6-8 visiting tables to ask questions and learn. We appreciate your willingness to give back to the youth of our community. This opportunity is a referral and is managed by AMP! Metro Richmond directly. Please express interest below to indicate to the agency your interest in participating. All volunteers who plan to attend must express interest. This includes youth. If the post indicates adults must be present, youth and adults must register using the team functionality. To learn more about our team functionality, please view our "Volunteer With a Group" page, under "Ways to Volunteer." **Please note, your attendance hours may not be recorded in your HandsOn Greater Richmond account since this is a partner-managed opportunity.
