Inclusive Autism Lego / Game Club
Children of all abilities in grades K-8 join us monthly to participate in our Inclusive Lego & Game Club. Children come and play with thousands of Legos and Board/Card Games. The group is facilitated by a recreational therapist and volunteers.
Volunteers are asked to:
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to start time to help set up Legos and tables
- Engage the children/students during Lego/Game play by befriending them and talking with them
- Help facilitate friendships among children who are there to play Legos/Games
- Help pack up Legos/Games and tables at the end of the session
- Come prepared to have FUN and make a difference in the lives of those affected by autism!
