Zika Training for Public Health Outreach and Field Education
If you are looking for something interesting to do, join our team this summer and come and learn about Zika. We are hosting classroom and field training this summer for interested parties to do outreach at our local libraries and in our WIC clinics here in Henrico and Hanover Health Departments.
(TBD Henrico) 7/15/2017- Zika Training in the Field! Learn how to identify, find, and dispose of Asian Tiger Mosquito habitats.
(Hanover HD) 7/17/2017- Zika Training in the Classroom. Classroom training will be done by Henrico and Chickahominy’s Medical Reserve Corps Coordinator and Standing Water Initiative Staff. The training will focus on the current known effects of the Zika Disease and information about mosquitoes.
