Clothing Closet Team
Red Door Ministry at Grace and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is a ministry to the hungry and homeless of downtown Richmond. We feed approximately 100 individuals a week at our Friday Lunch. You can help by sorting, folding and coordinating items in the clothing closet before lunch and then helping to distribute items during the meal. Donations change week by week and distribution happens when items are available.
Please dress so that you are covered appropriately for heat (i.e. closed toed shoes and shirts with sleeves, you will be working in the kitchen with hot stoves and ovens).
Arrive at 12 pm. If you arrive after 12 pm all assignments may be alotted to the volunteers who arrive on time.
Make sure that you sign in upon your arrival (this is especially important if you need your hours reported for court or school).
Please advise that you have signed up for the Clothing Closet so that you do not take someone's job in the kitchen by accident.
Remove yourself from the sign up if you are unable to attend so that individuals who are on the wait list will have the opportunity to serve.

Parking is available on a first come first serve basis on Laurel Street, Cherry Street and in the Church Alley Lot between the Altria Theatre and Grace and Holy Trinity Church (the spaces indicated by a blue parking block)- do not park in the VCU lot behind the church you may be ticketed.
