4th Shift Music Team
Red Door Ministry at Grace and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is a ministry to the hungry and homeless of downtown Richmond. We feed approximately 100 individuals a week at our Friday Lunch. We invite local musicians to provide live music to our Red Door Meal because we have learned that one of the most disturbing things about living on the street is the silence. The parish hall comes equipped with a sound system, but it is not state of the art. We also have a piano which can be used by our music team. In the past we have had acoustic folk musicians and VCU Jazz students jam for our meals.
When you express interest, The Rev. Kimberly Reinholz will contact you regarding: how many musicians will be participating, the style of music which you will be playing, and any additional needs. If you are new to playing for our Red Door meal please sign up for one session at a time (try it out before you commit to more than one date).
