2017 Citywide Back to School Rally
Our mission is to Richmond Public School students with free school supplies every August stuffed in a backpack of their choice.
We need volunteers to help us with the following:
1) We need excited and full of energy cheerleaders who will be using their hands, dance moves, smiles, and pom poms to excite the families as they enter to receive their backpacks
2) We need smiling faces who will serve breakfast to ALL of the volunteers or man the table
3) We need energetic individuals to hand out the backpacks to students in grades K-12
4) We need two volunteers to observe the line and verify that the parents have their a)ID, b) child must be present, and c) proof of residence
5) We need volunteers to arrange the gym for the teacher supply drive: 9am-10am
6) We need volunteers to assist with cleaning and breaking down the tables at 1:30pm
7) We need volunteers to make the posters
WE are asking all volunteers to wear a tshirt that is either red, blue or yellow.
