Brunswick Stew & Stout Brew Crew
The Enrichmond Foundation serves Richmond's people, parks and public spaces. They act as a fiscal agent and umbrella nonprofit organization for over 100 partner groups. Partners include civic associations, outdoor enthusiasts, garden, history and other citizen-based groups whose primary interest is to maintain, restore, preserve or improve Richmond's public recreational resources. One exciting way they provide support for their work is by hosting special events and festivals at the historic 17th Street Farmers' Market. Volunteers are crucial to the success of these events since they have a very small staff.
Volunteers will help with festival set-up, pour and serve beer to festival patrons and assist with festival breakdown. This is a great group activity! Morning shift tasks include placing tables and chairs, posting signage and making sure the festival area is ready for attendees. Afternoon shift tasks include collecting tables and chairs, taking down signs and general area clean-up. Volunteers must be 21 years or older--bring ID. Be prepared to be on your feet and moving the entire shift. Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. Join in as they host some of Richmond's biggest and most popular events
All volunteers who plan to attend must be registered. This includes youth. If the post indicates an adult must be present, youth and adults must register using the team functionality. To learn more about our team functionality, please view our Volunteer with a Group page.
If allowed on the project, any youth volunteers under the age of 18 must bring a parent-signed youth waiver to the project. The waiver can be found after sign up on the confirmation page or by visiting our Volunteer with Youth page.
