Featured DIY - Easter Egg Hunt

Organizational Beneficiary: Peter Paul Development Center & Housing Families First

Impact: Peter Paul Development Center is an outreach and community center serving Church Hill and neighboring communities in Richmond’s East End. It is the oldest community-based agency continually serving Church Hill children and families. PPDC gives children a safe, consistent, structured, and loving environment in which to thrive.

Housing Families provides families experiencing homelessness the tools to achieve housing stability. The goal is not only to assist families in finding permanent housing, but also to ensure that each family has access to the supportive services necessary to achieve long term housing stability.

Both of these organizations coordinate an annual Easter egg hunt and need assistance getting eggs ready for the children to find. DIY volunteers will assemble plastic Easter eggs and provide Easter baskets that will be used in the events, bringing some fun and joy to the children and their families.
