Clothing Closet Help
Red Door Ministry at Grace and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is a ministry to the hungry and homeless of downtown Richmond. We feed approximately 100 individuals a week at our Friday Lunch. You can help by staffing our clothing closet under the supervision of our Social Work Intern T. The clothing closet is set up at 12:45 pm the closet opens for shopping a little after 1 pm.
Make sure that you sign in upon your arrival (this is especially important if you need your hours reported for court or school).
Remove yourself from the sign up if you are unable to attend so that individuals who are on the wait list will have the opportunity to serve.
If there is a question about bad weather - snow, ice, etc., please check our Red Door RVA Facebook page for up to the minute information. We usually make the call about closing on Thursday by dinner time if we think we will close. If you do not have access to Facebook you can contact The Rev. Kimberly Reinholz via her cell at 757-655-1877. If you cannot attend for any reason please remove yourself from the sign up so that others may take your place. We usually have folks on the waitlist who would happily come if you are unable to for any reason.

Parking is available on a first come first serve basis on Laurel Street, Cherry Street and in the Church Alley Lot between the Altria Theatre and Grace and Holy Trinity Church (the spaces indicated by a blue parking block). Do not park in the VCU lot behind the church or you may be ticketed.
