Help Launch the Pulse-Remove Temporary Bus Stop Covers

GRTC is recruiting volunteers to assist with the removal of the temporary covers on new GRTC bus stops on June 22nd and June 23rd ahead of the launch of the Pulse (Bus Rapid Transit). The removal will reveal all of the new route numbers and stops that will align more closely with the Pulse as part of your new GRTC Transit System starting June 24th.

Each volunteer will choose a four hour shift. Volunteers will be paired into teams of two. Each team will receive a route map, a ladder, scissors, a GRTC t-shirt, and a trash bag. That route map will list all bus stops that need covers removed during the four hour shift. Volunteers will need one vehicle per team. A gas card will be provided to each driver. We have 1,600 bus stops, in which 1,100 will need covers removed before the launch of the new system, which is made possible through the generous help of all the volunteers. Youth volunteers with an adult will need to get a consent form signed.
