Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School Art Program, Richmond's East End
Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School in Richmond’s East End art classes occur weekly on Tuesdays in four one-hour periods (8:30a, 9:30a, 10:30a, 11:30a) and one two-hour period (1:30-3:30p) for grades 4th-8th. Start date is September 4th, 2018. Volunteers assist with setup, distribution of supplies, clean up, and creating a positive learning atmosphere. Art experience optional; love for kids required! Regular commitments on a weekly or bi-weekly basis are preferred, as the consistent adult presence is important for the students. Volunteers should plan to come 15 min before the time slot and stay 15 min after to transition the classroom. Also, volunteers will submit schedule requests through Signup Genius.
