Shiver in the River 2019 - Green Team Volunteers
Green Team Volunteers help participants recycle and divert waste effectively at Shiver in the River. Green Team Volunteers monitor “eco-stations” throughout the event grounds and make sure that recycling and trash are done right! In addition, food wastes and compostable disposables are being collected this year for composting; and Green Team helps make sure that is done right too! Volunteers are equipped with gloves and long-handled “pickers”. At volunteer check-in, you will receive a brief training on your assigned duties and about what is and is not recyclable / compostable during the event. Volunteers should be physically able to do a good bit of walking and a little lifting / changing of container liners.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
