World Series Baseball Tournament Support
We are Chesterfield Baseball Clubs, Inc (CBC), a non-profit organization that partners with Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation to offer recreational baseball programs to players between the ages of 4-18.
CBC hosts the PONY Bronco-11 World Series tournament that brings in teams from around the globe to play youth baseball at Harry G. Daniel Park at Ironbridge. We have teams from the US competing as well as international teams such as Mexico, Curacao, and China. We expect to have 150 players and 500-1,000 spectators each day for the World Series. In addition, the Mustang Zone tournament will be played at the same location the same weekend. There will also be a Miracle League of Richmond event.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help work the event. Primarily we need folks to help take money for the event at the front gate, sell drinks and snacks, keep score, sell souvenirs, and simply help pitch in to make this a fun event for everyone. This is an outdoor event in a park setting. We encourage you to wear weather appropriate clothing and sunscreen. Parking is located nearby. Water will be available.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 12+, Minimum Age:13+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
