Saturday Sitters (recreation respite care)
Saturday Sitters is a collaborative program sponsored by The Arc of Hanover, Hanover County Public Schools and Hanover Parks aned Recreation. It is a recreation-respite opportunity for infants and preschoolers, who are enrolled in Hanover County's Early Intervention program or in a Hanover county Public Schools' preschool special education class. Siblings up to age 11 are included and welcomed at Saturday Sitters. Volunteers will be under the direction of a trained and experienced leader at all time. Duties include:
