Become a Mentor with Richmond Public Schools!

In alignment with Priority 4 of the district's strategic plan, Dreams4RPS, RPS has developed a mentorship program, Mentor RPS, focused on pairing underserved students with mentors to provide strong role models and extra support. The goal of Mentor RPS is for young men and women of color to learn lifelong skills in leadership, teamwork, relationship building, communication, social-emotional awareness, and failure recovery that ultimately prepares them to succeed academically, professionally, and socially throughout their lives.

If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming a mentor, please complete our Mentor Interest Survey.  If you have any questions please reach out to RPS's Community Partnerships Coordinator, Grady Hart, at ghart@rvaschools.net.
