2019 Holiday Party
Each year, The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Central Virginia (NAMI-CVA) hosts a Holiday Party for members, friends, and those living with a mental illness.
NAMI CVA wishes to provide a joyful holiday experience, which is a treat to those that may be isolated or without family during the holiday season; many mental health consumers don't get to enjoy any type of holiday celebration.
We will be providing a meal at this event and are looking for volunteers to assist in serving the food, preparing the tables, and the clean-up afterwards. Dress code is either all black, all white, or a mixture of the two; dress doesn't have to be formal.
This opportunity is a referral and is managed by NAMI-CVA directly. Please express interest below to indicate to the agency your interest in participating.
All volunteers who plan to attend must express interest. This includes youth. If the post indicates adults must be present, youth and adults must register using the team functionality.
