Lend a hand with a Richmond Christmas tradition enjoyed by generations of families! Maymont Mansion team is seeking a few individuals to help with Victorian Christmas events including set-up, ticket sales, party hosting, and clean-up. Various shifts and positions are available. Additional paperwork is required for volunteers under 18.
Event Set-Up 9am-11:30am – Assist staff in setting up event and moving carriages.
St. Nick’s Party Host 11:30-4:30pm Help with set-up, greeting, crafts, refreshments & clean-up at St. Nick’s Parties.
Greeters at the Mansion 12-4:30pm -- Welcome guest and give directions to Ticket Tent, tours, exhibits,etc.
Craft Assistant 12-4pm – Support craft activities for children.
Photographer 11:30-2:30pm and 2:30-5pm – Take photos as guests pose with St. Nick & Maymont’s sleigh.
Fire Attendant 11am-4:30pm or 2 shifts – Monitor the firepit for safety and replenish as needed. Engage with guests.
Event Breakdown 4:30-6pm – Assist with un-decorating tents; packing up, unloading and putting away supplies.
