Art Class Assitant- Petersburg YMCA
Volunteers will help the Art on Wheels instructor for our Aging in the Arts programming at the Petersburg YMCA. Class assistants will help with set up and break down of class space and materials, and help participant-artists create art. Volunteers do not need to have prior art experience, but do need to have a willingness to learn, patience, and a sense of humor.
We prefer volunteers that can commit to more than one class session. Volunteers will be asked upon expressing interest to answer a short questionaire and to read a brief summary of Art on Wheels' history, programming, and goals.
Please wear appropriate and comfortable clothing and bring anything you think you may need (like water bottles, etc.) with you.
