Decoration Making Party for Sweethearts for the Arts Fundraiser
Join the Art on Wheels team as we prepare for the return of our signiture fundraiser, Sweethearts for the Arts! This year's theme is "Rites of Spring" making our event all about nature and rebirth. You can read more about the event here.
As a volunteer, you will be helping create decorations for the event out of a variety of provided materials and using a variety of making methods including paper mache, different painting techniques, paper folding and cutting, etc.
No prior experience is necessary, but enthusiasm, patience, and a sense of humor is a must! Please wear clothing appropriate for our activities, including close-toed shoes. Snacks will be provided, but please bring anything you deem necessary.
Accesability Note- Our building is located in Scott's Addition. There is plenty of street parking, but we cannot guarantee parking on our block. There are two steps to get into our building, all of our work space is located on the first floor of the building.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 10+, Minimum Age:18+
