Help Stock our Food Pantry! (Off-Site)
When you are volunteering, please follow these tips for healthy volunteering. HandsOn Greater Richmond emphasizes the importance of wearing a mask, social distancing, and not volunteering if you don't feel well.
Since the pandemic began, we have seen a rise in clients experiecing barriers to accessing food. We have grown to feeding about 450 people a week and we need your help to keep our shelves full! Currently we are in need of FAMILY SIZED breakfast items including cereal, oatmeal, cream of wheat etc. We will be granting one volunteer hour per full sized family item. When you have your items together, feel free to drop your items off in our drop off bin located at 2421 Westwood Ave Suite A Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. After dropping off your items please complete our donation form so that we both have a record of your donation. After completing the form it may take up to 72 hours after you submit the form to get that back to you. If you need any documentation to verify your hours please put your name on your donation. We have a drop-off bin right outside of our office door located at 2421 Westwood Ave., Suite A, where you can leave your donations anytime Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
