Help College Bound High School Students 2020-2021
Partnership for the Future is recruiting volunteers for our Virtual GUIDES Mentoring Program! PFF is a workforce development organization that provides college and workplace readiness programs to high-achieving high school students with limited resources to equip them for success in college and beyond.
The GUIDES Mentor will primarily assist our PFF high school seniors virtually with the college applications, financial aid, and scholarship processes. The mentor will work with 1 -2 students to ensure that the processes are completed correctly and in a timely manner. GUIDES Mentors should be graduates of a four-year college/university, be comfortable working with youth, and be enthusiastic about assisting in the college transition process. GUIDES Mentors meet with students once month from September to May for 2 hours.
