Henrico County/VDEM Community Canvassing Initiative 8/27/20
Volunteers are needed to distribute care kits containing reusable face coverings, hand sanitizer and COVID safety information to communities throughout Henrico on Thursday, August 27th from 8AM - 11:30AM, with registration beginning at 7:30AM. Volunteers will be bused via HCPS buses to neighborhoods where they will do a contactless delivery of the kits to homes.
Volunteers must be 16 and over to canvass. Face coverings must be worn when social distancing can't be maintained. Volunteers are asked to bring a backpack or tote bag to hold kits.
Meeting location is Richmond Raceway Complex, in the Old Dominion Building, 600 E. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23222.
Waters and snacks will be available.
