Invasive Management at Rapids Restoration Area
Our priority will be continuing to remove wintercreeper groundcover in the Rapids Restoration Area adjacent to the parking area and river. This work will not require any tools.
Other work, as we progress later in the season, will include Free-A-Tree along the main trail corridors. This work requires pruners and handsaws. Bring your own if you have them; if not, we will provide tools while observing safe practices.
For all work days:
Come prepared to observe Coronavirus volunteer guidelines as posted on the Task Force homepage. We will maintain our distance from one another, but please also have a mask with you.
Bring your own work gloves if you have them and always wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots.
