Additional Information (if provided): The mission of SOAR365 is to create life-fulfilling opportunities for people with disabilities (https://www.soar365.org). The SOAR365 Finance team is responsible for all financial matters of the organization, including accounting, reporting and analysis. We assist all directors and department heads in understanding their financial performance, and we partner with them in developing ideas for financial improvement. We are transparent with financial information, and we recognize that its integrity is the basis for critical decision making at SOAR365. SOAR365 is looking for a CPA or other skilled finance professional willing to donate his/her expertise to review all of SOAR365’s existing accounting policies and procedures, identify gaps, and modify current policies and create new policies to address gaps in alignment with best practices. Upon completion, this skilled volunteer will also create an organized layout of all policies and procedures to be uploaded as a reference document into SOAR365’s internal sharepoint folder. Deadline is flexible.
This SkillsConnect project has a deadline of January 29, 2021, can be completed in roughly 7 - 10 hours and requires at least three years of experience in Accounting.
