Smart Beginnings - Essential Supply Kit Assembly
The child care industry has been hit particularly hard during the pandemic. Access to PPE and other necessary supplies has been extremely limited for small businesses who don’t have bulk purchasing power. Smart Beginnings Greater Richmond along with Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond, ChildSavers, VDSS, and VPM have come together for a distribution event for these essential workers.
Volunteers will be assembling essential supply kits for Child Care Centers and Family Day Homes. These kits will be distributed later in the month to 500 Centers, providing a vital bridge to child care programs until further assistance becomes available.
Face masks are required at all times. If you do not have a face mask one will be provided.
