Mission Tomorrow: Next Generation
Mission Tomorrow: Next Generation is an online career exploration event for 8th graders in the Richmond Region. Students will explore an exhibit hall filled with virtual booths occupied by our exhibitors where they can ask questions in a public chat room, download videos, and learn more about various career pathways.
How can the volunteers help?
We need volunteers to help monitor (virtually) the booths our live day, December 9. With your help, we will make sure our students have a safe and enjoyable learning experience!
The role of the volunteer is not only to monitor the public chat rooms in each of the virtual exhibitor booths, but to facilitate conversations within that space. 8th graders from Chesterfield County will be entering and exiting the virtual career expo throughout the live day on December 9, and each student will bring with them their own unique experiences, questions, and ideas. Our volunteers will be tasked with making sure students are engaging with the content provided to them in each booth and asking questions that help steer them in the right direction.
