Virtual School Volunteer
We’re looking for people to volunteer at our Virtual School Hub making sure that the students log into their classes on time and contacting the appropriate people when the students have problems.
Virtual learning has become an integral part of our educational system. Virginia public school divisions wants to ensure that learners have access and opportunity to assist students that have barriers to virtual learning in their homes. We can support up to 12 students for virtual learning. This helps to provide positive and appropriate socialization with peers and adults. We still have space available.
For the safety of everyone, we allow students to take their masks off while they are at their virtual school stations but put them on to go anyplace else in the building. For extra safety, we have air purifiers in each section where up to 4 students have stations.
Volunteers can bring their computers/work or reading materials while they are here becuase there will be down time when the students are in their classes.
