Maymont Gardening Project - Mulching, Planting, and Spring Renovation!
When you are volunteering, please follow these tips for healthy volunteering. HandsOn Greater Richmond emphasizes the importance of wearing a mask, social distancing, and not volunteering if you don't feel well.
It takes many hands to care for Maymont, Richmond's beloved 100-acre historic estate and gardens. Come join the Horticulture team for some spring sunshine, open space, and rewarding hard work! Whether you're new to gardening, or a seasoned pro, there's plenty of projects to capture your interest and build on your existing knowledge.
Please note - volunteer duties are fully outdoors and physical in nature. Volunteers must be 18+. All tools and supplies are provided. Please bring your own gloves, mask, and water.
