Maymont is a 100-acre historic estate and park, located in Richmond, Virginia, with many unique experiences for all to enjoy, including the historic Maymont Mansion, The Robins Nature Center, arboretum, formal gardens, and habitats for native Virginia wildlife and farm animals. With seasonal events, programs and rental spaces, over 800,000 guests enjoy Maymont yearly. Since 1975, Maymont has been maintained and operated by the nonprofit Maymont Foundation, committed to creating experiences that delight, educate and inspire its guests.
Join Maymont for Herbs Galore & More! Put on your gardening shoes, grab your little red wagon and come out to the Carriage House Lawn for everyone’s favorite plant sale! The event will feature over 60 vendors, wide aisles and a spacious layout for a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Volunteer tasks include set-up, check-in, greeting guests and assisting with plant sales. Youth volunteers are welcome, though spots are limited, and youths under age 15 must volunteer with an adult. This event is rain or shine.
Volunteer shifts are 6:30-10:00am, 9:45-1:00pm, and 12:45-4:00pm.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 11+, Minimum Age:15+
