Cake Pops like a Cake Boss for adults with special needs
Calling all aspiring and amateur bakers and decorators to help us with a session of decorating cake pops. This program is for adults with disabilities. This fun activity will be held in small groups using candy melters to decorate cake pops (a cross between a lollipop and a cake).
Volunteers needed to help with supplies, providing encouragement and assistance as needed to attendees with disabilities such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism and more. Most participants will also be coming with their own caregiver as well.
The program itself runs about an hour but volunteers come in early and help stay for clean up as well.
No prior baking or decorating experience needed. Please dress is casual clothes that may get dirty. Aprons will be provided.
