Brief Organizational Description:
Girls For A Change is a non-profit 501c3 with a mission to "Prepare Black girls for the world and the world for Black girls" We do this in a variety of ways by providing resources and access to girls in our community in spaces where they may have difficulty getting access.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
As we return from summer break it is time to get our building ready for the fall. We will need help organizing and cleaning to get our building ready for our girls for new acitivities and programs.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Volunteers will support and assist us with cleaning and organizing our building and storage areas. It will include lifting, cleaning and other acitivites that involve getting your hands dirty.
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
None
Time Commitment:
We ask all volunteers committ to at least two hours but you can stay longer if needed
Other Information (if applicable):
- Masks are required to wear inside of our building
- Wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty from dust
