SpookyFUN Fest
Help Hanover County Parks and Recreation kickoff the Halloween season at one of our SpookyFun Fest programs. These community events are designed for children 10 and younger and their families. These events offer trick or treat stations, games, activities, dancing with music provided by DJ and photo opportunities with Taylor the Chipmunk (the Parks and Recreation mascot).
Volunteers may be needed to help with set up and take down of activity areas, distribution of candy, prizes, leading trick or treat stations, helping with line control and other duties.
Volunteers should arrive at 4pm for an overview of roles and responsibilities. The event runs from 5-8:30pm. Volunteers should dress for the weather and bring a flashlight. Packing up and clean up should be finished by 9pm.
Volunteer attendance will be marked in the HandsonRVA system.
