Herbs Galore & More! 2023
Maymont is a 100-acre historic estate and park, located in Richmond, Virginia, with many unique experiences for all to enjoy, including the historic Maymont Mansion, The Robins Nature Center, arboretum, formal gardens, and habitats for native Virginia wildlife and farm animals. With seasonal events, programs and rental spaces, over 800,000 guests enjoy Maymont yearly. Since 1975, Maymont has been maintained and operated by the nonprofit Maymont Foundation, committed to creating experiences that delight, educate and inspire its guests.
Volunteer support Richmond’s favorite plant sale, Herbs Galore & More! Guests select from a staggering variety of herbs, annuals, perennials, trees, vegetables and garden goods with live music and food trucks — it’s fun for the whole family.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Volunteers Support, Check In, Plant Sales, Loading Zone, Mansion Tours, and a Planting Station
Time Commitment:
Friday shifts: 12pm-2pm, 1:30pm-4pm, 3:30pm-6pm
Saturday shifts: 6:30am-8:00 am, 7am-10am, 9:30am-1pm, and 12:30pm-4pm
Age Minimum (with Adult): 15+, Minimum Age:15+
