The City of Richmond Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities maintains Bryan Park. On the National Register of Historic Places, the park was the site of a planned slavery insurrection known as Gabriel's Rebellion.
Volunteers are crucial to help provide clean and maintained grounds and protect the watershed for the public to enjoy. HandsOn Day will be a big cleanup of the little things that tend to cluster and ruin public enjoyment of these natural treasures.
Volunteers will:

Volunteers will:
- pick up paper, cigarette butts, bottle caps, and other litter from grounds and around watershed
- remove overgrowth along wall of creek
- mulch trees in memorial garden
- remove leaves along chain link fence
- other tasks as needed
