Chimborazo Friends Beautification
MPACT is an initiative that encourages community participation, drives city action, and fosters communication to develop a shared vision for Richmond’s future. The educational staff at Chimborazo Elementary empowers students by providing high-quality educational experiences. It is important that the school and neighboring area environment promotes a standard of excellence. Volunteers will help clean up and beautify the school property and surrounding neighborhood to help make the school look inviting.
If allowed on the project, any youth volunteers under the age of 18 must bring a parent-signed youth waiver to the project. The waiver can be found after sign up on the confirmation page or by visiting our Volunteer with Youth page.
Registration for this project will close 24 hours in advance.
Volunteers will:
- Assist in clean up and beautification efforts for the school and surrounding area
- Pick up trash and debris, pull weeds and update garden areas
- Some painting may be involved
Please wear clothing that can get dirty or painted on. On street parking and school parking will be available. This project will be CANCELLED in the event of rain. We will notify you before the day if this happens.All volunteers who plan to attend must be registered. This includes youth.
