Age Minimum (with Adult):17+, Minimum Age:17+
Volunteers are needed to help adults with disabilities enjoy lunch at Estes Dining Hall on the campus of Randolph Macon College as part of the Community Connection Club. Volunteers will help participants navigate through the serving line, help them carry food tray, as well as engage in appropriate conversation. Some participants may need encouragement to make healthy choices in their meal selection. Please note that the dining hall does not have an actual street address, but is located across the street from the campus library. Volunteers must pay for own lunch if interested in eating lunch as well. Lunch cost is $8.50.
If you are also interested in volunteering for the Club meeting prior to lunch, please let us know. The club meeting runs from about 9:45-11:45am.
This opportunity is a referral and is managed by Hanover Parks and Rec directly. Please express interest below to indicate to the agency your interest in participating.
