CLOSED DIY Oops Kits
Registration for all DIY projects is now closed.
Participate in Give a Day RVA without having to go anywhere September 23. DIY volunteering is something you can make or do at home to benefit a local nonprofit.
Issue: Schools, Health and Wellness
Purpose: Imagine being in elementary school, trying to focus on making friends and learning new things, when OOPS! you have a bathroom accident. Eeek! You don't have many extra clothes so there aren't any that you can keep at school in case of emergency. What do you do? Go see your CIS Site Coordinator for an OOPS! Kit, of course! These kits will meet a huge need for the youngest students we serve, helping them get cleaned up and back to class quickly and confidently.
Directions:
In a zip-top bag and write the size on the outside:
Deadline and Delivery:
1) Registration will close by Monday morning, Sept 18
2) Sign up yourself or your team below
3) You will receive the address once you register. Deliver items to the HandsOn Office at any of these times:
Wed, Sept 20, 5-7pm
Thurs, Sept 21, 5-7pm
Fri, Sept 22, 12-2pm
4) Every person who plans to volunteer (including youth) must sign up. You can create a volunteer team to sign up your group or family members. Read about how to create and manage teams.
Registered participants will receive 4 hours for submitting materials as noted above.

- 1 pair of underwear (kids size 4-8)
- 1 pair of stretchy pants or sweatpants (kids size 4-8)
- 1 small pack of baby wipes
- 1 sheet of stickers and/or encouraging note.
- Please match the underwear size to the pants size.
