Windows and Boxes
We would like volunteers to construct/tape and decorate/wrap large cardboard donation boxes for our annual Holiday collection drive. These boxes will be spread amongst partner companies to collection items for our guests during the Holiday season. We will provide all materials including decorations. In addition, volunteers will clean windows, railings and balconies on our 5 guest floors. We do not have the staff to do this on a regular basis. Volunteer tasks: construct/tape and decorate/wrap boxes, clean windows, railings and balconies on our 5 guest floors. Volunteers should bring their own water, and if working outside: sunscreen and bug spray.Wear clothing they don't mind getting cleaning solution or dirt on. Volunteers can park in the public garage across the street at 600 East Marshall Street and we will give them a parking voucher for complimentary parking. The entrance for day/hourly parking is located on the 6th street side of the parking garage that can be accessed from Marshall or Broad streets.
This project is a part of our regional day of service, Give a Day RVA. Registration will close 24 hours in advance.
