We need your support to help combat childhood hunger! Each Friday, and days prior to school breaks, children at designated RPS schools will receive a food backpack for the weekend. We need volunteer support organizing the backpacks, distributing the backpacks to each child, and collecting remaining backpacks after distribution. Volunteers should be able to lift 30 lbs.

Attire: Closed toed comfortable shoes (no heels), long pants and/or skirts and collared or plain shirts. All clothing should be comfortable and wearable to perform manual labor that may obtain dust or spills due to the handling of food products and boxes.

Parking: Street parking is available. The school parking lot may also be available.

Other: Please sign up for every opportunity. There are limited spots available to volunteer and we do not accept volunteers who do not register through the HandsOn Greater Richmond website.
