Saturday Baby Breakfast/MLK Day Discussion
Join Capital Diaper Bank as we begin a series of community discussions and bring back the true meaning of unity and service to our communities. The goal of Saturday Baby Breakfast is to engage in dialogue that encourages a variety of constituents to make a difference in the lives of babies. Consequently, infant mortality and maternal morbidity would be addressed at its root cause. Please join us for this discussion as we continue the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the MLK Day of Service to serve others so that communities will flourish and equality will prevail. Learn about ways you can volunteer on this topic with the Capital Diaper Bank and HandsOn throughout the year. Light snacks will be provided. Here are some questions to get you thinking ahead of the discussion. Registration will close 12 hours in advance.
