http://www.ci.richmond.va.us/CommunityGarden/index.aspxChimborazo Community Garden has several aims: to provide a place for neighbors with little or no yard space to grow their own yummy foods; to beautify a part of the park that was previously unused dust and sparse grass; to educate and encourage others to take part in the organic, local, grow-your-own food idea that aims to decrease putting more chemicals into the watershed, using fossil fuels to grow plants and ship foods, and depleting our soils; to educate people about getting nutritious, fresh, and delicious foods at affordable costs; and to connect neighbors around the relaxing activity of gardening!
