http://www.buildingthefirewithin.orgThe Carl Gordon House is a transitional home for non-violent female ex-offenders. We seek to prepare those women who have been released or diverted from incarceration for re-entry into the community.The women will be provided an atmosphere of respect, trust, challenge and understanding of their needs. They will be given the opportunity to restore wholesomeness to their lives, as well as an opportunity to distance themselves from their involvement in negative behavior and recidivism. They will also be provided opportunities to receive drug abuse counseling, case management, employment counseling, faith experience, spiritual growth, interaction in support groups and mentorship.
